Join our team… Reporting into GoDaddy's Vice President Commerce Engineering, our Senior Director Commerce Engineering helps GoDaddy build Omni-Channel commerce capabilities that enables our merchants to do business seamlessly. This role will be responsible for crafting great product experiences for our merchants. Product will be a close partner as you build outstanding experiences for our GoDaddy customer. What you'll get to do... • Lead and manage a team of engineers to build capabilities and solutions that enable our customers to manage their business, own and drive operational excellence and promote architectural initiatives, while balancing long-term velocity with short-term customer needs • Build platform capabilities for our SMB merchants • Lead crafting of one of a kind product experiences for our merchants while you partner closely with the GoDaddy product team • Be customer obsessed about maintaining the systems that optimize our customer performance and scalability • Exhibit an intensity around experimentation with different product designs and technologies Your experience should include... • Track record of successfully building and leading engineering teams focused on crafting great product experiences • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in software development • Experience designing highly scalable software solutions • Knowledge of AWS technologies • Full stack development experience on par with engineers • Experience with automation of different processes, from build tools to analyzing their efficiency • Deep knowledge of the agile development methodology • Experience exhibiting a positive relationship orientation and the ability to further corroboration within and across teams You might also have... • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience • Master's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience We've got your back...  We offer a range of benefits that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in an employee stock purchase plan, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave.
