MinimumQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in business development, consulting, strategy, strategic partnerships/sales. 2 years of experience in the games industry and/or leading partnerships with mobile games/app developers. Experience leading negotiation, identifying partners, and structuring agreements. Experience analyzing data and building financial models for agreement evaluations/investments. About the job The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.Google Play is growing at a rapid pace, serving millions of Android users with apps and games that are innovative, useful, and entertaining. As a Partner Manager for Google Play Games, you will lead complex partnerships with top games developers in North America with a focus on helping them drive new business and growth on the Android platform and Google Play. You'll use your business acumen, leadership skills, and industry knowledge to grow developers' digital businesses, develop/negotiate innovative agreements, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, and drive solid business outcomes for our partners and Google. We provide in-depth lifecycle support to top games partners -- including consulting on their games business performance, negotiating first-of-kind agreements, developing innovative product solutions to address key challenges - all to drive business creation and growth. We also act as strategic advisors for our partners internally/externally - using our deep understanding of the mobile games market, development technologies, business models, and value chains - in order to strengthen cross-Google partnerships with these key game developers, and maximize overall value for Google Play and Google. Responsibilities Own and lead partnership strategy and relationship management with top game developers in North America. Identify emerging opportunities, market developments, and challenges in the global gaming ecosystem and develop strategic recommendations and plans. Provide consultations to key partner game businesses based on analysis of partner metrics, performance, best practices, and strategic priorities. Advocate for and drive adoption of strategic Google Play and Android platform and products. Provide actionable insights to shape product and commercial big bets, and drive impactful collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, payments, etc.) to grow the Google Play ecosystem. Stay up-to-date on latest developments within mobile technology and game development through research, attending/speaking at events, meeting with influencers, and provide feedback on features and business models to product/engineering teams.Salary Range:$80K -- $100KMinimum QualificationBusiness DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
