Role Title: FP&A Analyst

Reporting into: Head of Finance (FP&A and Accounting)
Location: Shepherds Bush, London, Hybrid.
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial planning and analysis support to Gousto. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the finance team, senior management and various business units to provide insightful analysis, drive strategic decision-making and contribute to the group's financial goals. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent financial modelling skills, and a natural curiosity to learn more about business.
We are a small (3) but effective team and everyone supports and understands all areas of FP&A at Gousto.
Your focus will be on the following areas:
Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead the Annual Budget process by working with stakeholders across the business to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables, aligned with overall company goals
Ownership of scenario modelling to the leadership team - finger on the pulse of the business P&L and in-depth analysis of any changes
Support the Monthly Rolling Forecast process, analysis, and reporting thereof
Support on preparing 5 year Long Term plans to shape strategic direction
Processes and Systems:
Lead our finance-owned FP&A system (Planful)
Support the Senior Management Team with Salary Budgets and Forecasting and utilising our Planful Work Force Management system to manage said budgets
Design automated dashboards and use relevant tools to improve the business's ability to self-serve
Monthly BAU Analysis and Reporting:
Own month-end P&L analysis, CFO and business-wide internal reports, and preparation of monthly management accounts for the board including commentary and analysis of key metrics
Liaising with and challenging the Financial Control and Commercial Finance teams on variance analysis across the P&L for actuals, forecasts, and budgeted numbers and producing value-added commentary
Maintain a high standard of KPI reporting and trend analysis, whilst enhancing the information and providing insight
Business Partnering
Acting as a Business Partner advising, challenging, and building rapport with senior stakeholders
Provide commercial insight and analysis on ad hoc business initiatives
Team & Culture:
Line management of one direct report, responsible for all aspects of management including coaching and development
Social, passionate, entrepreneurial and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
