As a Truss Designer, your main responsibilities will include creating accurate Truss Placement Plans and Truss Design Drawings, designing various types of trusses using advanced software, and ensuring compliance with Building Codes. The Truss Designer position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience in the construction industry, proficiency in MiTek software, and a High School Diploma or GED. Strong mathematical skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential to your success in this role.

A Truss Designer will work on a variety of building projects, including both commercial and residential constructions. This involves creating designs for roof and floor trusses and pre-engineered wood products tailored to specific custom requirements.
