Gradient is on a mission to automate the modern enterprise, a huge space with over $100B in TAM. Our core product, the Gradient Automation Foundry, makes it easy for enterprises to automate information processing workloads that were historically impossible to automate with RPA or internal tools. We’ve built our own LLMs and technology from the ground up to power privacy sensitive enterprise workloads.
As the first Technical Recruiter at Gradient, you will be critical in helping us build out our engineering and research teams. You will own full-cycle recruitment and work closely with leadership to drive hiring process and strategy and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
In this role, you will:
Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruiting strategies that align with our robust growth goals
Proactively source and screen candidates using various methods, such as cold outbound, social media platforms, networking events, and employee referrals
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to closing and onboarding
Actively work towards creating a diverse workforce by implementing inclusive recruitment practices
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 4-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including at least 2-3 years of technical recruiting experience
Demonstrate proven abilities to hire high quality team members, attract passive candidates, and build a diverse pipeline
Are highly organized, with the ability to navigate across multiple work streams while managing your time efficiently
Have excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers
Are data-driven and experienced in analyzing recruitment metrics and market trends to inform recruitment strategies

Our founding and exec team consists of former leaders who have helped scale hypergrowth startups and led teams at Netflix, Google, and Meta
We typically work in-person 2-3 days a week at our dynamic HQ in Burlingame, CA
In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the salary range for this position is set between $120,000 and $170,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program.
