Director, Cost Accounting

We are looking for a Director of Cost Accounting to join our Finance Team. This role involves partnering with various departments to ensure accurate cost accounting processes and provide valuable cost analysis for strategic decision making.

Responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for costing and inventory modules
Lead cross-functional teams for continuous process improvement and cost reduction
Provide reports on factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
Generate accurate inventory and costing reports for operational improvements
Serve as an expert on cost and inventory accounting issues
Interact with auditors to ensure compliance with internal control procedures
Prepare ad-hoc reports, conduct research, and contribute to special projects
