The Role

Gridwise is seeking to bring on a highly motivated and versatile Senior Product Analyst to join our Gridwise Product team to help grow and improve our market-leading gig worker mobile application.

Your analytical skills and ability to discover and present informative insights related to user behavior in our mobile application will help guide our product decisions at Gridwise. You will work closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to analyze user behavior and optimize app functionality to improve user experience and achieve company growth objectives.

What you're responsible for

  • Analyze user behavior within the gig worker app and develop hypotheses and recommendations on how Gridwise can better engage and grow its user base

  • Identify key metrics to track for maximizing user engagement and subscriber growth, and maintain reporting dashboards that track core metrics and communicate insights to executive leadership

  • Define and maintain product analytics reporting requirements/specs for the gig worker app, and assist product managers in defining measures of success for new feature releases and various product initiatives

  • Contribute to the design and execution of A/B tests and various experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes across the user journey to support our team in making data-driven decisions.

  • Support go-to-market (sales, success, marketing) teams to understand market trends and the competitive landscape

  • Proactively engage internal stakeholders on newly discovered trends/insights and recommend areas for improvement or optimization in the product

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience working as a data analyst on B2C software applications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong proficiency working within popular product analytics and marketing tool stacks (e.g. Mixpanel, Segment, Braze, etc.)

  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to interact directly with databases and warehouses

  • Experience designing and implementing A/B tests and experiments to evaluate product changes and features

  • Ability to research and identify market trends, understand customer challenges, and present findings and recommendations to decision makers

  • Familiarity with common B2C digital advertising channels such as Facebook, Google, Apple, TikTok, etc.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and data visualization) to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Exceptional candidates may have

  • Advanced expertise in Mixpanel, e.g. building custom queries with JQL

  • Ability to build automations for your reporting workflows

  • Specific familiarity with Google Cloud’s data and BI products

  • Prior startup experience or experience in the gig economy industry
