GTM Strategy & Ops Analyst

The team:

The GTM Strategy & Operations Analyst will join a global team driving Datadog’s next phase of growth. We’re interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds in management consulting, business development, investment management, investment banking and strategy/ops to accelerate Datadog’s global growth. We work directly with Datadog’s most senior leaders to set growth strategy, improve efficiency across the business, support data-driven decision-making, own complex operations and more.

The opportunity:

We’re seeking a strategic yet execution-minded problem solver to help us reach our next level of scale. This role will be responsible for building systems and processes to measure and improve the performance of our go to market functions. That means developing and monitoring KPIs, driving analytical assessments and owning the outcomes of our most important global strategic programs.

You will: 

• Drive quantitative review & analysis, generate insights into growth levers and operationalize new ideas through the creation of new processes and workflows
• Partner with stakeholders to understand current day to day processes and problem solve to drive operational improvements at scale
• Own distinct work streams within global transformation programs and deliver improvements to our operating model
• Assist GTM leadership on OKR creation and tracking
• Work cross functionally with sales, customer success, marketing, Strategy, Ops, Finance and other departments to drive alignment on key goals and actions

Requirements: 

• BA/BS/BE degree required (concentration in math, CS or a technical field preferred)
• 1-2 years experience preferred in management consulting, investment banking / equity research, revenue / growth strategy functions, revenue operations or equivalent experience as a business analyst
• Quantitative thinker with track record of distilling actionable insights from complex data
• Experience with BI Tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase, etc)/SQL
• Proven track-record of leading projects to completion and following up on success
• Strong verbal and written communicator with experience presenting to senior leaders
• Experience managing broad stakeholder groups to achieve strategic objectives
• Team player -- excited to help others reach their goals
• Excited to take on big ambiguous problems that haven’t been tackled before

Bonus points: 

• Experience in a growth phase SaaS company and GTM functions in particular
• Knowledge of Salesforce and other similar sales systems
• Familiarity with cloud observability or general SaaS business models
• Experience working with go to market / sales ops functions
