High School Head of School - Cedar Park

Guidepost Academy is a new innovative high school dedicated to crafting a meaningful education experience. We are looking for a Head of School/Principal to lead our team and help students discover their unique strengths.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Prior teaching and leadership experience in education
Knowledge of the Austin independent school market

Responsibilities

Communicating pedagogical vision to teachers, students, and families
Providing coaching to teachers based on regular classroom observations
Developing relationships with families and being the primary parent contact
Developing and supervising all programs of the school
Supporting and monitoring individual student coaching by teachers
Collaborating to create annual calendars and school schedules
Managing the Assistant Head of School and enrollment strategy
Achieving financial targets and campus profitability
Teaching duties for subject matter expertise
