Job Description

As the Regional Concept Merchandiser, you will set the strategy and drive the selling of your concept throughout APAC region. You are responsible for allocation and replenishment of the concept and elevate sustainable growth in stores.

The Regional Concept Merchandiser reports to the Head of Merchandising APAC in Singapore.

What you will do:

  • Set and drive an assortment strategy that creates sales net growth for the APAC markets.
  • Co-create with the Buying/VM/Marketing Team on selling potentials, as well as opportunities and threats.
  • Provide constant and structured feedback to buying office in London to secure relevant assortment for the region based on market tendency, competitor analysis, fashion level.
  • Participate in quarterly buying and ranking meetings for the region to optimize assortment strategy.
  • Drive selling and profit for the region through securing a strong regional commercial plan to drive your merchandising strategy.
  • Establish and drive the commercial priority of key products, garment groups, and beliefs towards the Market Merchandiser.
  • Travel within the region to identify selling potentials with local teams.

What you need to succeed

  • Several years experience within merchandising with a proven record of achieving results.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to decide sales driving actions based on the results.
  • Fashion awareness & competitive landscape knowledge with a keen interest in the product.
  • Ability to influence, provide feedback, challenge and speak confidently in front of an audience.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership to plan, organize and make decisions.
  • Advance level in Excel.
  • Excellent awareness of competitor activities.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and in an everchanging environment.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.

This is a full-time position based in Singapore (Or China).

In this role you will have some flexibility to work remotely however due to the high level of cross department collaborations much of your time will be spent in our amazing office in Korea.
