We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our legal team to establish our contracts manager and legal operations functions.
You will interface with cross-functional teams including our deal operations and go-to-market teams to ensure fast and efficient execution of agreements with customers.
You will also focus on the efficient operation of the commercial team (including its contracts management system) and Harvey’s legal department.

More specifically, you will:
Draft, review, and negotiate Order Forms, Master Service Agreements, NDAs, and procurement-related agreements
Maintain and expand our contacts management system and establish our Legal Operations function
Provide training and develop resources in support of our sales and other cross-functional teams

This role is based in New York, N.Y. or San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.
Bachelors degree
3+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience
Experienced applicants, including with management experience, are welcome, as there may be an opportunity to build out the Contracts Manager and Legal Operations functions over time
Transactional background, including with SaaS, technology, and/or IP licensing commercial agreements, and/or M&A transactions
Experience with contracts management systems and related systems (such as or similar to Ironclad, Lexion, Zip and Docusign)
Ninja-like project management skills
Management, legal operations and AI experience welcomed but not required
Ability to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environment
Team-focused and collaborative work style; willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice
Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude, and a love for solving hard problems with a small tight-knit team
