Company Description

The vision of Booth Creek Wagyu (BCW) is to become the leading direct to consumer premium meat company in the US! BCW is a Wagyu beef and seed stock company located in the Flint Hills outside of Manhattan, Kansas. By leveraging the strategic advantages of raising and feeding Wagyu cattle in the Midwest, we are cutting out layers in the current industry. BCW encompasses top 1% genetics, best practice feeding and husbandry, and our own processing facilities. Current distribution includes our own meat market retail stores, ecommerce, and select wholesale accounts. Job Description

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive sales, and deepen customer engagement for Booth Creek Wagyu. A key focus of this role is managing creative content across in-store, eCommerce, and social channels, ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences. This role will also oversee collaboration with third-party agencies, creative teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality campaigns that meet organizational goals. The Marketing Manager will balance strategic planning with tactical execution while prioritizing creativity and performance optimization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage relationships with external agencies, creative vendors, and marketing partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including store teams, eCommerce managers, and operations, to align marketing efforts across all channels.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to internal or external creative teams to ensure all content meets brand standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Creative Content Development & Management:

  • Oversee the creation and execution of compelling, multi-channel content for in-store promotions, eCommerce platforms, and social media.
  • Manage the production of creative assets, including photography, video, graphics, and copy, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and audience expectations.
  • Lead the development of in-store marketing materials, such as signage, displays, and promotions, that drive foot traffic and customer engagement.
  • Partner with eCommerce teams to optimize product pages, landing pages, and digital campaigns with conversion-focused creative content.
  • Design and manage social media calendars, coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver engaging posts, paid campaigns, and audience interactions.

Marketing Strategy & Agency Collaboration:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing plans that achieve growth goals and align with brand strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party agencies, managing creative briefs, timelines, budgets, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with agencies to develop high-impact campaigns for digital (social media, email, PPC) and traditional (print, in-store) marketing.
  • Evaluate and onboard creative vendors or freelancers as needed to support brand growth.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:

  • Oversee the execution of campaigns from ideation to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., engagement, ROAS, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights to improve future efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure campaigns are consistent across all channels and reflect seasonal or promotional goals.

In-Store, eCommerce, and Social Integration:

  • Develop in-store marketing strategies that align with local events, promotions, and community engagement efforts.
  • Optimize the eCommerce customer experience by ensuring creative content aligns with SEO best practices and conversion optimization techniques.
  • Drive social media engagement by creating campaigns that blend organic and paid strategies to grow audiences and deepen connections.

Brand Stewardship:

  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative assets.
  • Ensure all creative work communicates the premium positioning of Booth Creek Wagyu’s products and meets the expectations of the target customer.
  • Create compelling storytelling and education-focused content to reinforce the brand’s value proposition and expertise in Wagyu beef.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on creative content and campaign management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing agency relationships and delivering high-quality creative projects.
  • Photography, video production, or web design experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
