To learn how we can supercharge progress for you, visit https://www.hcltech.com/about-us.For better understanding here is the job descriptionRole: Video QA EngineerLocation: Cupertino CA (Onsite)Rate: $65-$70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.Job Description:Key Qualifications•• Strong SQA experience with analytical ability to debug/triage HW/SW test issues.• Strong Python Automation and work experience on Linux/UNIX environments• User level experience of CI/CD build environments (Jenkins/Git)• Knowledge/Experience of Video drivers/codec (Highly preferred but not mandatory if we do not have candidates with this background but #1,2 & 3 should be very strong).• Basic knowledge of video codecs, H.264, HEVC, VP9, AV1.You will be partnering R&D engineering teams to ensure the quality of video related Frameworks/FW/Drivers.The daily tasks will include testing new features, validating developer’s check ins before submitting to the OS, creatine new test cases, HW test racks maintenance, scripting of test cases, new SoC/HW platform bring up and validation, test strategies and planning, hands-on functional testing, bug triaging/reproducing/debugging/reporting/regression, and execution of automated tests.Salary and Benefits:• Rate: $65-$70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.• Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.• Retirement Plan: 401(k) with company match.Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
