PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Client facing Requirements Analyst, Temporary will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, documenting, and communicating the business needs and requirements from clients and stakeholders. The role ensures that project goals are aligned with these needs, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Elicit and gather requirements from internal teams, external clients, market research, and compliance guidelines.
Analyze requirements for clarity, consistency, completeness, feasibility, and testability.
Validate that requirements meet stakeholder expectations and project goals.
Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Document functional and technical requirements with precision and detail.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and ensuring mutual understanding.
Assist in project planning, timeline development, and deliverables tracking.
Perform short and long-range planning in support of existing and future requirements to enhance customer systems.
Reviews software design and change specifications against project requirements.
Support integrated testing activities and system test requirements reviews.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQURIED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.
Certification in Business Analysis a plus.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT requirements management within a health plan payer environment (developing, reviewing, and analyzing), documentation, system development, or business analysis.
Strong analytical skills to solve complex issues and suggest improvements.
Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and people skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology, including decomposing requirements into user stories.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
