The Role

Working closely with our Principal Product Designer, Senior Product Designer & Product and Engineering teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Work on the UX/UI of Heidi’s products across multiple platforms such as web, desktop & mobile apps, and integrated products

  • Create high-fidelity design solutions and prototypes that take the complexity out of the hands of clinicians, and solve challenging problems in innovative ways

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions

  • Work independently and collaboratively with other designers – providing and receiving thoughtful and constructive feedback on product and brand work

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Marketing, and more, to align on product vision and implementation

  • Ensure engineers and delivery teams have the guidelines and artefacts required to implement designs in a clear and efficient way – providing smooth handover and QA to ensure pixel perfect implementation

  • Advocate for and evangelize design thinking, accessibility, and user-centric design principles throughout the organization

  • Stay up to date with competitors, market offerings, global trends and best practice to inform design improvements of our digital experiences

  • Support the continuous improvement of our design process by contributing to our design frameworks and playbooks

What we'll look for:

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing solid product design skills, strong UX thinking, and a clear user-centric mindset

  • At least 2 years of UX/UI experience (SaaS or healthcare background is a plus)

  • You must have detailed knowledge of Figma, and know your way around other common design tools

  • Experience working with (and contributing to) design systems, design operations, and design governance

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams

  • Bonus points for knowing your way around product tools like Linear, Notion, PostHog, Canny and Intercom

  • Bonus bonus points for knowing your way around basic front-end code (HTML, CSS, JS)

  • A genuine passion for keeping up with the latest design trends, methodologies, and technologies
