Overview

High Tide Inc., one of the world’s largest cannabis companies, is seeking a Smoking Accessory Specialist to join our product design team. This role is ideal for an experienced designer with deep knowledge of smoking accessories and a passion for elevating the cannabis consumer experience.

 

You’ll help shape innovative, ergonomic products—from bongs and pipes to grinders and dab tools—across globally recognized brands like Daily High Club and Grasscity. Working with a fully remote team, you’ll contribute to designs that blend function, form, and culture for a rapidly growing market.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hand-held smoking accessories that enhance the user experience
  • Collaborate on product development from concept to production, including sketching, prototyping, and visual exploration
  • Translate consumer insights and cannabis culture into functional and stylish products
  • Source materials and develop cost-effective, manufacturable solutions aligned with brand identity
  • Balance usability, safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal in every product
  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, material innovations, and evolving customer preferences
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams and international vendors to deliver production-ready designs
  • Help shape the accessory roadmap by identifying whitespace and product opportunities

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in product or industrial design, or a strong focus on smoking accessories or closely related lifestyle tools
  • Strong portfolio showcasing form-forward, user-focused products
  • Experience with prototyping, manufacturing processes, and preparing files for production
  • Understanding of materials (glass, silicone, metals, plastics) and how they impact design and usability
  • Excellent communication skills with comfort presenting design concepts and collaborating remotely
  • Creative thinker with the ability to turn customer needs into design opportunities
  • Passionate about design, cannabis culture, and solving problems through product innovation
  • Experience working with international suppliers or production partners
  • Knowledge of cannabis accessories or adjacent industries (home goods, lifestyle tools, etc.)
