With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity will lead the administration of leaves and accommodations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, in partnership with our leaves administrator. The Sr Benefits Analyst provides guidance and support to employees and managers regarding leave and accommodation processes. The role also entails providing comprehensive analytical support for employee health and welfare benefit programs. Assists in the design and implementation of benefits plans, programs, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local health and welfare regulations. Serves as SharePoint Administrator for all online benefits content. Maintains and analyzes various types of benefits information and trends.What You’ll Do:• Provides administrative support to ensure consistent and compliant measures to help track, monitor and plan benefit programs, as well as overseeing that all core and ancillary benefit plan documents are updated annually and posted/distributed accordingly.• Manages compliance reporting and administration for State and Local regulatory requirements that relate to benefits.• Serves as SharePoint administrator for benefits and ensures appropriate, timely and accurate posting of all benefits-related material throughout the year.• Serves as HIPAA primary point of contact in coordinating and implementing annual HIPAA training and training for new hires. Ensures HIPAA policies and notices are continually updated and distributed appropriately.• Collaborates with HRIS to help create interface files and/or research results of interface file defects. Takes technical lead on implementation of new benefit programs or changes to existing benefits programs.• Manages creation of data files for any benefits-related census reporting, annual Compensation Statement project, annual Non-Discrimination Testing, monthly hours worked, periodic surveys and other similar periodic audits or projects that arise.• Serves as back-up to HRSC in answering day-to-day inquiries from employees as well as serving as the primary point of escalation for more complicated questions or situations.• May oversee the work of less experienced staff.• Performs other duties as assigned.What You’ll Need:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related area and 6 years benefits experience, or• In lieu of education, 10 years benefits experienceWhat You'll Bring:• Strong organizational and time management skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• High attention to detail• Problem-solving skills• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism• Technical proficiency• Demonstrated customer service skillsWhat We Prefer:• Analytical and reporting ability• PC proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)• 10 years of benefits experience, with a focus on leaves and accommodations• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant leave lawsAdditional InformationClick here for benefits information: HNTB Total RewardsClick here to learn more about EOE including disability and vetVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.#NF #HumanResources.Locations:Kansas City, MO, Overland Park, KS (Sprint Parkway)...............NOTICE TO THIRD-PARTY AGENCIES:HNTB does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or agencies.
