Optical QA Technician

As an Optical QA Technician, your primary responsibilities will include calibrating edgers for precise lens-to-frame fitting, ensuring lenses are the correct size and shape, and verifying that multi-focal lenses are aligned accurately. You’ll also inspect frames for defects, conduct safety checks for bevels, and assist with tinting and UV treatments. Your hands-on approach is crucial for maintaining our high-quality standards.

Candidates for the Optical QA Technician position typically need a high school diploma or GED. While prior lab experience is helpful, it's essential that you can read and understand prescriptions. A keen attention to detail and the ability to perform physical tasks, like lifting up to 20 pounds, are essential to excel in this role.
