Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Lease End/Remarketing Specialist I-III based at our Greenville, NC location. 

  

What you will do: 

Level I: 

  • Collect documentation and upload data/photos into lease systems. 

  • Coordinate unit returns from joint ventures and customer-specific programs. 

  • Review inspection reports and determine billing for repairs or overtime. 

  • Negotiate charges and repairs with dealers and customers. 

  • Track and manage used equipment data from dealers. 

  • Load data into bid forms for Program Manager review. 

  • Identify product abuse trends and support annual Dealer Used & Rental Meeting. 

Level II Additions: 

  • Negotiate and sell off-lease equipment to dealers and end users. 

  • Support and train team members. 

  • Manage dealer relationships for used and rental equipment. 

Level III Additions: 

  • Dispose of joint venture equipment through dealers, wholesalers, auctions, and online platforms. 

  • Lead out-of-network asset sales and auction activities. 

  • Explore and implement new remarketing strategies. 

  • Oversee disposal of company-owned equipment from returns or special programs. 

  • Set trade-in values for assets tied to customer-specific programs. 

  • Manage non-traditional remarketing programs, including Big Truck initiatives. 

Who you are: 

  • A clear communicator who can effectively negotiate with customers and dealers. 

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts. 

  • Comfortable navigating evolving processes and adapting to new strategies. 

  • Technically inclined and curious about how equipment works. 

  • Collaborative, with a focus on building lasting relationships across departments and with external partners. 

What you will need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Level I: 2 years of relevant experience (or 6 years of industry experience without a degree) 

  • Level II: 3 years of relevant experience (or 7 years of industry experience without a degree) 

  • Level III: 6 years of relevant experience (or 10 years of industry experience without a degree) 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

Level I: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills. 

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment systems. 

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance. 

Level II Additions 

  • Familiarity with internal systems and lease processes. 

  • Understanding of lift truck systems and dealer service operations. 

  • Knowledge of repair standards and service labor practices. 

  • Experience with leasing and remarketing policies. 

Level III Additions: 

  • Advanced technical knowledge of equipment and maintenance. 

  • Deep understanding of dealer service workflows. 

  • Strong negotiation experience with both dealers and customers. 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of leasing structures and remarketing strategy.
