We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer-Java & Web Technologies to join our team. As an Application Developer-Java & Web Technologies, you will advise clients on application development methodology and tools, and perform as an expert on application development for existing or new applications. You will work with teams to develop a technical roadmap for business solutions aligned to business goals, and consult with teams on solutions that run on multiple IBM platforms and applications.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services. • Develop solutions to integrate with various third-party APIs and internal services. • Ensure high-quality code delivery through code reviews, testing, and adhering to coding standards. • Work with GCP services like Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and more to design scalable and reliable cloud-based applications. • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection. • Drive technical discussions and guide the team in adopting best practices for API development. • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.
