We are looking for a Part-Time Peer Support Specialist to join our team in Seaford, Delaware. The Peer Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the recovery process as individuals attempt to navigate behavioral health systems and recovery resources. Peer Support Specialists educates and empowers individuals by assisting them in developing a strong, stable recovery support system. Some core job responsibilities include conducting support meetings, offer service linkage as specified on the care plan, and responding to residents' emergencies as needed. Ultimately, you will work directly with the residents to assist individuals with self-care and self-awareness, encouragement and support, teaching coping skills and the positive benefits of long-term recovery.
Please note this part-time position is currently for 1st shift on Saturdays from 8:00am-4:00pm and Sundays from 8:00am-4:00pm.
