Summary

The Implementation Manager is a high-profile, fast-paced, client-facing professional on our Enterprise Client Delivery Team. Here you will be responsible for managing all client implementation tasks and bringing the client to a production setting. You are responsible for setting the foundation of the relationship between Cedar Gate Technologies and our clients and vendors. As the Implementation Manager you will regularly interface with client executive sponsors, project managers, and end-users.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all implementation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within the contractual budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility based on client use case needs.
  • Own client-facing projects as team lead and project manager.
  • Serve as a hub of communication, translating data concepts, healthcare industry, and software language between stakeholders of each discipline both internally and externally. You are not the SME for each discipline, but you must understand all aspects of the project.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope and schedule and communicate appropriately to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure all requirements are received and executed for application configuration.
  • Report and escalate all issues and risks to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Walk clients through all requirements, workflows, and user acceptance testing.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Meet with clients to communicate timelines and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Manage all implementation tasks, including (but not limited to) Client Kick-off calls, weekly implementation calls, breakout sessions (as needed), Data/IT Management discussions and review, UAT review, and all project go-live tasks.
  • Responsible for tracking and providing all costs associated with the implementation per contract fee schedule.
  • If applicable, work with the Vendor Management team to ensure Vendor Implementation tickets are created and monitored throughout the implementation.
  • Assist in maintaining Implementation Status Reports and communicating with executive management and clients as required.
  • Attend all required team meetings.
  • Work and Develop project dashboards, spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of healthcare industry experience such as Population Health, Physician/Hospital Revenue Cycle, Solution Design, or other relevant experience
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to document and track multiple deliverables, including external and internal communication on progress and/or delays
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Effective at building, maintaining, and growing relationships with senior leadership
  • Proven ability to learn technical concepts with high proficiency especially to provide guidance with implementation solutions
  • An outgoing and enthusiastic personality that will make clients and team members want to follow your lead!


Preferences – Not Required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with SaaS environment products or projects
  • Data analytics experience, including the ability to create meaningful/strategic insights from technical data sets
  • Experience with Agile SDLC
  • Experience integrating Agile and Waterfall project plans for external consumption
