We specialize in social-first video content, with a strong emphasis on video that help our clients solve their business goals, and are in need of a talented Video Editor to help achieve that.Who are you?You’re a video editor with deep and extensive experience creating impactful content for social media.You know what it takes to grab the attention of an audience, and you know how to convert that attention into meaningful action. Whether it’s editing content from the ground up, or taking existing brand or reference assets and re-shaping them to deliver exceptional performance, you know and understand the tools, trends and behaviours that make social content perform.Roles & Responsibilities:• Video Editing: Edit various video content for clients across all social media platforms, with a primary focus on TikTok. Transform reference assets (brand or creator) into high-performance media assets for paid media campaigns. Skilled in both vertical and landscape video formats.• Content Creation: Develop marketing assets, including sizzle reels, case studies, and sales collateral.• Capacity Tracking: Track capacity across the studio, forecast resource allocation, and manage the ability to take on new projects in partnership with the VP of Impact StudioExperience:• 3-5 years of experience as a video editor in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of social media content, particularly TikTok.• Deep understanding of storytelling and structure for impactful social video content.• Expert knowledge of social media platforms, video specifications, and trending formats and behaviors.• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Capcut or other social editing tools (a plus).• Excellent understanding of graphics, visual effects, music licensing, video formats, codecs, and exporting standards.• Creatively ambitious with a knack for experimentation and innovation.• Ability to work across various visual languages.• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and file management expertise.• Capability to manage multiple projects and forecast resource allocation.• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to convey ideas and concepts to internal teams and external stakeholders.• Keen understanding of influencer marketing and leveraging influencer content across the sales funnel.• Passion for social media and staying ahead of industry trends.Attitude & Skills:• Self-Starter: Proactively identifies gaps and offers solutions without needing direction.• Continuous Learner: Seeks opportunities to learn from wider business functions and applies learnings to work.• Proactive Project Manager: Confident in planning complex projects and ensuring accountability for all contributors.• Strong Communicator: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.• Team Player: Works closely with the creative team to align concepts with strategy and client goals.• Collaborative Spirit: Builds rapport quickly across various functions.• Proactive: Continuously seeks opportunities for learning and applying new insights to work.(some of our) Benefits & Perks:• 401k Plan (eligible after your first 90 days of employment)• Medical, Dental & Vision plans provided• Career Framework approach to levelling to ensure our compensation and progression is competitive• 22 days of Paid Time Off (+ Bank Holidays which can be flexed to your needs)• Office first hybrid approach with 3 days in our NY HQ (NoMad)• Yearly tenure celebrations• Company wide offsites, seasonal celebrations and eventsAt Influencer, we’re committed to cultivating an environment that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
