The environment is fast-paced and dynamic.Primary areas of responsibility include developing and implementing communications plans in collaboration with the client and creating compelling content for multiple programs and strategic initiatives. Other primary responsibilities include creating leadership messaging, as well as messaging to reach and engage stakeholders across the country and around the globe.The primary work location will be at the SAIC office in San Diego with some work required at the nearby client site.Responsibilities• Develop and execute integrated communications plans, strategies, and campaigns that effectively engage with and inform diverse stakeholders and target audiences.• Write, edit, and manage the development, production, and approval of all client communications materials.• Develop key messages and content to support communications goals.• Develop executive-level briefings and talking points for senior leaders.• Synthesize information from multiple sources and integrate into cohesive communications plans, messages, and content.• Translate complex technical information and concepts into clear and compelling messages.• Effectively articulate and demonstrate program successes.• Develop and coordinate channels, opportunities, and content to facilitate open and transparent communications between program leadership and key stakeholders.• Identify and develop metrics to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of communications.• Develop feedback mechanisms and regularly incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into communications plans and products.• Collaborate with client organizations to collect and share information.• Work with senior government clients to ensure their priorities inform communications plans and products and to obtain necessary approvals.• Work with SAIC program manager and team to ensure deliverables align with client mission goals and objectives and are delivered on schedule and within budget.• Track and report on status of communications deliverables.QualificationsRequired Qualifications• 10+ years of experience developing integrated communications strategy, plans, and content.• Exceptional writing and verbal skills with the ability to generate original, clear, concise, and compelling content for multiple audiences, media, and platforms.• Experience using metrics and tools to optimize campaigns.• Excellent ability to synthesize complex information and create cohesive strategies and clear messaging.• Advanced project management skills and attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, SharePoint, and Teams.• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with emerging trends in strategic communications.• Track record of successful stakeholder engagement and management.• Portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality, original written content.• Experience with U.S. Navy programs.Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
