Installation Specialist

Imagen is a leading provider of technology-enabled diagnostic imaging services focused on improving the quality, cost, and accessibility of diagnostic imaging. We provide an end-to-end solution that enables Primary Care Providers to perform diagnostic imaging and screening tests in their offices, including mammography, X-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiography. Our full-service solution to PCPs includes diagnostic testing equipment, staff, technology, and final imaging interpretations performed by U.S.-based, board certified specialists. These specialists are equipped with Imagen's proprietary, FDA-cleared Machine Learning software that is exclusively deployed for Imagen customers and their patients.

Imagen's team includes over 100 clinical, technical and business personnel. Imagen's software has received first-of-its-kind FDA clearances, and its research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Imagen has raised $135 million in capital from investors such as Google Ventures, Casdin Capital, and Threshold Ventures. Imagen was founded in 2015 and is based in New York City.

We're looking for an Installation Specialist to deploy and integrate medical imaging equipment into Primary Care settings across the United States. In this role you will be responsible for planning and executing the installation of mammography, X-ray, ultrasound, and other equipment at physician practices with a constant focus on professionalism and client satisfaction. On day one you will play an integral part in building the Installations team at Imagen with a short and direct path to leadership for capable candidates. The success of our clients depends on you, so our ideal candidate is technically capable, an excellent communicator, and adept at stakeholder management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and enable the delivery, installation, configuration, and certification of imaging equipment at physician practices across the United States
  • Key contact for all planning/construction/installation related activities, being the liaison between Imagen and OEMs/Vendors/Contractors/Architects.
  • Work with new and existing Imagen clients to identify, create, and configure imaging suites within their practices.

Qualifications:

  • Subject matter expert in medical imaging equipment
  • Proficient in 2D AutoCAD
  • Have OEM or 3rd party installation experience of multiple imaging modalities
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans that include electrical, structural, mechanical components
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team and customers as part of a solution based service process
  • Ability to handle unexpected challenges and solve problems consistently and effectively
  • Travel required ~50-75% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with at least 4 years experience installing equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years experience installing equipment

Our headquarters are based in New York, NY and this job is conducted remotely. Coverage area will encompass the mountain and pacific time zone, with the ideal candidate living in a city with a major hub airport. Salt Lake City, UT preferred location.
