As a Senior Graphics Performance Engineer at Intel, you will play a crucial role in the Graphics IP team, focused on next-gen Graphics and High-Performance Compute IP's. You'll be responsible for performance verification, defining verification strategies, debuggings performance bottlenecks, and mentoring junior engineers. Your experience in RTL verification and knowledge of GPU and AI performance benchmarks will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring product excellence.

The Graphics IP team within the AI team is responsible for providing the next gen Graphics and High-Performance Compute IP's which go into SoC's in all of Intel Graphics IP products - Integrated, Discrete and amp; Data Centre/AI products. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering.

We are looking for Experienced Pre-Silicon RTL Verification engineers for our Performance Verification team, where you will work closely with architects/micro-arch's, software/hardware engineering, design, and simulator experts. With exciting work and by being at the at the very center of GPU designing validation and working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry, great learning is assured.

As an Senior Graphics Performance Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Performance verification involving TestBench development, test writing, architecture/functional modeling, functional coverage closure and debug.
  • Define functional/performance verification strategy and develop execution test plans for the same.
  • Understand and drive various GPU and Machine Learning and/or AI Performance benchmarks on RTL via Simulation or Emulation to achieve the planned performance targets.
  • Debug and root cause performance bottlenecks in the design and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design.
  • Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of coverage, pass rates, performance criterion as well as feature goals.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior engineers in the team.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering or similar degree with 5+ years' relevant experience or Masters of Computer Engineering or similar degree with 3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of combined experience in the following:
    • Scripting Knowledge such as Python, Perl, Shell
    • Computer Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RTL verification and validation of microarchitecture using Verilog/SystemVerilog/UVM/Assembly/C++
  • Exposure to CPU or GPU Architecture (Computer Architecture Knowledge).
  • Performance verification at IP or System level
  • Experience with coverage driven verification, testbench development, functional modeling and test writing/debug
  • Experience with industry standard front-end design and verification flows/tools/methodology
  • Graphics Hardware Experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $139,710.00-$197,230.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
