Intern, Finance Data & Analytics

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented data and analytics intern to join our team at Edgewell Personal Care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Analytics projects related to corporate finance, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization. You will also have the opportunity to learn about our company's business and how data and analytics can be used to make better decisions.

Responsibilities:
Work with data from a variety of sources, including financial systems like SAP, Hyperion

Collaborate with finance team members to understand their data and analytics requirements.

Understand data flow from difference sources to identify data mismatch issues

Analyze data to identify trends and patterns

Create reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders using Power BI

Develop and implement data visualization solutions

Support the creation of financial forecasts, budgeting processes, and financial performance tracking by collecting and tracking necessary data across the enterprise systems

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data science and analytics

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong expereince with using excel functions and power point templates.

Experience with Power BI a plus

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous internship or project experience in data analytics or corporate finance is a plus

Ability to work in a hybrid work environment with 1 day in office per week (Wednesday)

The salary for this role is $20/hour. The program will run for 8-10 weeks.
