Overview:

***This role is required on-site at our corproate headquarters in Dublin, CA up to 30 hours per week**

Students have an exciting opportunity to gain exposure in multiple disciplines within Human Resources Talent Development (HRTD) as part of the Patelco Credit Union HR internship. The HRTD Intern will have an opportunity to rotate through several disciplines within our area (rotational areas may include Training, Professional Development, Instructional Design, Learning Management & Team Readiness).

The HRTD intern will be responsible for assisting on a number of initiatives to improve processes and implement efficiencies within the Department. This opportunity is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills they may have acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting. There will also be opportunities within the credit union to network with other departments.

Responsibilities:

Project support of various Talent Development initiatives
Support of Instructional Designers, including adding closed captioning to courses, researching, writing, and editing content
Support of learning management system, including establishing a process for reviewing current custom content for relevance and accuracy
Support of Talent Development Partners, including facilitating portions of foundational programs, recording sessions, assisting with the preparation of HQ classroom, and follow-up with all participants.
Prepare presentations and training materials for training courses /content
Support of other HRTD Functions as assigned

Qualifications:

Demonstrated track record of initiative and leadership.
Basic knowledge and interest in adult learning and development
Strong written and verbal communication
Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, Business, or an HR-related major
Minimum GPA 3.0
Must be at least 18 years old

Target Base Pay:

$26/ Hour
