International Sales Operations Analyst

Position Title: International Sales Operations Analyst

Position Location: 222 South Main Street, Suite 1600, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

  • Provide analysis and interpretation of a variety of data to colleagues, managers, and executives; recommend actions that align with the strategies of the organization.
  • Compile and manipulate large amounts of raw data from multiple systems; analyze and present findings in a clear format.
  • Build, maintain, and improve our data and reporting foundation. Provide ad hoc report analysis as needed.
  • Drive operational efficiency by automating and improving processes, reporting tools, and dashboards.
  • Support special executive projects. Assess opportunities, evaluate options, implement impactful recommendations, and track KPIs.
  • Demonstrate global acumen by understanding how business operates on an international and multi-faceted level.
  • Establish and evaluate annual pricing strategies and structures. Analyze the cost of goods sold, gross margin, and sales history of all saleable product SKUs.
  • Manage and facilitate different types of pricing executions; work closely with Finance and IT departments to ensure pricing meets company objectives.
  • Lead the S&OP process for the international team in order to improve demand planning tactics and create a forecasting model that can pivot within the international business model.
  • Represent the international sales department in monthly forecast reviews with the corporate sales and demand planning teams to validate international demand and review supply.
  • Own the demand planning process (for a specific set of items) including data modeling, analytics, and data review/input from key stakeholders to drive customer revenue.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts by business unit, SKU, and distribution center, using shipment history, sales analytics, and market trends to achieve financial and service level targets.
  • Build new forecasting models and tools to increase the accuracy of demand plans, and predict trends and volume while updating and validating models with the latest internal and external data to continually improve accuracy.
  • Conduct sales analytics, mining for trends and insights that inform demand and financial forecasts while improving tools and reporting on the business.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Information Systems, or Analytics and 6 months experience in analytical and client-facing roles within Sales, Operations, or IT.

Special Skills: Knowledge must include coursework with the following:

  • Agile & Business Process Modeling
  • Business Process Integration with ERP
  • Database Management (SQL or other database management tool)
  • BI solution or data visualization tools
  • Data warehousing concepts and procedures
