We are looking for SWEs (Backend or Full-Stack Web Developers) from Tier 1 Tech Companies with a strong passion for teaching to join us as part-time instructors. This role will provide opportunities to network with other experts, understand learner issues, and contribute to the SWEs Professional community.

Responsibilities:

  • Streamlining curriculum to align with Backend Developers' interview process in tier-1 companies.
  • Developing interview-relevant content and case studies for the program
  • Deliver live sessions on various topics in the backend development domain
  • Constantly improve the session flow and delivery by working with other instructors and subject matter experts
  • Help in onboarding and training other instructors and coaches
  • Have regular discussions with IK’s curriculum team in evolving the curriculum.

Back-end Development Interview Course 

Skills and Expertise:

    • Proficient in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Go.
    • Extensive experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and developing RESTful APIs.
    • In-depth understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
    • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Strong Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
    • Minimum Seven years of experience in tier-1 tech companies as a Backend or Full-Stack engineer 
    • Ability to simplify complex topics and explain them in an engaging manner
    • Participation in interview panels and hiring committees
    • High levels of empathy to understand the challenges faced by students and willingness to help them out
    • Should be willing to work on weekends and weekday evenings(PST)
    • Strong knowledge in designing and developing Cloud native applications using distributed microservices architecture
