OverviewIntuit recently launched a startup business that identifies and builds new products that weave together capabilities developed across our divisions and acquired companies (e.g., Quickbooks, Mailchimp, CreditKarma, Turbotax). This new startup is driving the next stage of growth for Intuit by developing products that address the future needs and desires of our 150M+ consumers and 10M SMB customers. We believe we can delight our customers by bringing Intuit’s collective capabilities together in new ways beyond current imagination. Our team focuses on building innovative products in fintech, digital marketing, customer loyalty, and employee capital.The Principal Strategy and Business Operations will begin on the ground floor of our new startup, working with product, engineering, and business teams. Initially this person will: 1/ identify and refine ideas for new integrated products; 2/ coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business models and requirements; 3/ collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to launch new products; 4/ define, track, and report on KPIs for new products; and 5/ write annual operating plans and run annual planning processes for new businesses. We expect this leader to grow with the business and their scope, responsibilities, and team will expand with the success of the startup.What you'll bring• Leveraged a “Customer-Back” approach in building a new product or service• Managed new product or service launch at a Fortune 500 company (F500C) working across different functions (e.g., marketing, sales, engineering) to ensure success• “Held the pen” on a business narrative that led to an impactful decision at a F500C• Built and aligned cross-organizational executives on a business initiative or strategy at a F500C• Owned business reporting for a function at a F500C• Demonstrated willingness to perform basic tasks while also conducting sophisticated work for Senior ExecutivesHow you will lead• Interview internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities• Conduct research on emerging customer needs and market changes• Write PR/FAQs and other business narratives to propose and gain funding for new products• Convene regular cross-organizational tech and business reviews• Lead change management activities• Build cross-organizational internal training materials• Own all cross-functional aspects of launch process• Report on status of launched products• Identify and coordinate potential product changes or pivots post launch• Run the annual planning process
