As an iOS engineer on the Main UX team, you will work with product managers, designers, and a strong team of other mobile and backend engineers to deliver a striking first impression of the WHOOP product. Every time a WHOOP member launches the mobile app, they should be treated to a delightful experience that is easy to understand and personalized to them. The stakes are high - if we don’t get it exactly right, we impact all members of Whoop and transform their delightful experience into a distressing one.
This will require rapidly iterating on new ideas, experimenting with various ways of solving the same problem, and constructing high quality user experiences, utilizing highly-available and performant backend APIs and systems. Our iOS app is written entirely using native app technology and incorporates the latest Apple technologies, so you’ll have an opportunity to flex your native development skills while having a huge impact on our members’ experience.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
