IT Intern

Position Summary

Parker Hannifin - Bioscience & Water Filtration Division located in Oxnard,CA is seeking an IT Intern. The intern will work closely with our senior IT team members on developing and delivering data and solutions to drive business success.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering value adding IT/IS solutions and is eager to gain hands on experience with project management, software development, database administration, robotic process automation, private and public cloud infrastructure, and business application support and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Assist with user support and training.
• Participate in and lead application development and improvement problems to support new and existing business systems.
• Design and implement data flows to build valuable data sources to use for reporting.
• Develop and deliver valuable information to end users through PowerBI.
• Perform regular software updates and patches.
• Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week during Summer 2023.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States.
• Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team.
