What You’ll Do

The Fall 2023 (September-December) IT Technical Support Intern will acquire hands-on experience supporting all technology within Authentic. Our company is growing fast, and the IT Technical Support Intern will help all our employees and assist in shaping our technology future. In this role, you'll be expected to be hands-on, ready, and eager to roll-up your sleeves and solve problems. Our current technology stack consists of both Macs and PC's (desktops and laptops), Office 365, VOIP telephone services, Dropbox, and numerous other marketing and sales technologies.

What you’ll be working on

• Provide assistance with asset management (software and hardware inventory)
• Assist with installlation of software on new hire computer setup not limited to account creation
• Assist with level 1 technical support tickets in the IT Service Desk
• Provide A/V support for meetings and events
• Learn how to use various IT support tools to remotely assist clients when possible
• Learn how to deploy software via JAMF for MACs or Connectwise Automate for Windows
• Learn how to manage IT assets including the lifecycle

Must Haves 

• Currently enrolled university student in a fashion, marketing, or IT program. 
• Available to work 3 weekdays per week.
• Able to work onsite in our NYC office
• Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
• Detail oriented
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
• Proficient knowledge of Macs and PC's (desktops and laptops)
• Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks

Primary Location Salary Range:

The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York, NY, is $15.

The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York, NY, is $20.
