Demand Gen Manager

The Demand Generation Manager will be pivotal in building and executing demand generation strategies that fuel Ivy Energy’s sales pipeline, brand awareness, and market presence. This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in outbound marketing, local media PR, and lead generation tactics. You will manage two Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and collaborate across the Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams to generate interest, nurture leads, and drive high-quality demos. We are looking for someone in the Salt Lake City, UT area as this role will be hybrid and working from our Lehi WeWork 2-3 times a week. 

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team a small team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
  • Support BDRs in achieving lead and demo generation targets through training, tools, and strategy optimization.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide ongoing feedback to ensure alignment with the company demand generation goals.

Demand Generation Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize multichannel campaigns to generate enterprise and mid-market lead prospects, including email, social media, webinars, and events.
  • Own the top of the funnel and develop strategies to drive traffic and improve website lead generation funnels.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, and Marketing teams to align campaign strategies with the sales funnel and revenue goals.
  • Optimize website lead funnels, landing pages, and calls to action to maximize conversion rates.

Local Media and PR

  • Support the VP of Marketing in executing local media and public relations campaigns in new markets.
  • Build relationships with relevant media outlets to amplify Ivy Energy’s brand and market entry success stories.
  • Support with developing press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content to help position Ivy Energy as an industry trailblazer.

Brand Awareness and Exposure

  • Drive initiatives to increase Ivy Energy’s brand awareness and exposure in new target markets.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase Ivy Energy at industry events, conferences, and through partnerships.
  • Leverage digital and traditional channels to enhance visibility and credibility.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of demand-generation campaigns and team activities.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Work within the demand generation budget and allocate resources effectively.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in demand generation, marketing, or related fields, preferably in SaaS or renewable energy industries.
  • Success in managing and developing high-performing BDR or SDR teams.
  • Expertise in outbound marketing and multichannel campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of PR and media strategies, with demonstrated success in launching multi-regional campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Experience in the energy, proptech, or clean-tech sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce Pardot and Salesforce Sales Engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience leveraging LLM’s and AI in their workflows
