About the Opportunity

Contentful is looking for an Associate Field Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team in Denver on our Growth & Performance Team. In this role, you will assist in developing marketing programs for our go-to-market team to increase awareness, drive engagement, build and progress pipeline.  Working closely with the sales teams, you will drive regional events and execute campaigns in order to support our efforts.

The successful candidate will be a key player in working with cross-functional teams that engage key accounts and support Contentful’s commitment to build trust and credibility as a composable CMS solution. The role will be heavily focused on driving business growth by building brand awareness and generating marketing leads via multiple marketing channels, including a heavy events execution portfolio, virtual programming, and field activities. 

What to Expect
  • Collaborate with our sales teams and marketing stakeholders to identify target audiences and execute field marketing strategies to suggest, build, and execute campaigns to support our pipeline development. 
  • Own Commercial Segment marketing activities for North America
  • Assist in developing and executing localized/regional marketing campaigns, aligning them with broader marketing objectives to drive engagement and generate leads.
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination in defining key objectives, materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, and F&B, & logistics.
  • Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales and marketing teams.
  • Strategize, order, and deliver promotional items to support sales & events.
  • Maintain event and campaign documents - budgets, calendars, checklists, run-of-shows, etc.
  • Complete quarterly budget reviews and ROI analysis; incorporate findings and feedback to further refine programming tasks.  
  • Achieve benchmarked ROI metrics by working with the sales and demand generation teams, managing and analyzing campaign data in Salesforce.
  • Successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Comfortable driving recurring team calls, presenting campaign initiatives, and soliciting feedback from both recaps to stakeholders and an executive leadership audience.
What you Need to be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2- 5 years of B2B working experience in the field marketing or experiential marketing space, or equivalent in an adjacent marketing function
  • Passionate about the role field marketing plays and excited to bring new and fresh ideas to Contentful
  • Ability to execute cohesive event strategies, including messaging, audience, and execution with creative flair
  • Able to work independently and in a group setting
  • Must work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; able to multitask and effectively manage time
  • Acute attention to detail; demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
  • Experience working with internal and external clients
  • Proven negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
  • Creativity in delivering results with constrained budgets
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the customer experience landscape is preferred 
  • Knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce is not required but helpful
  • Ability to travel domestically as required; some international travel may occur in the future as well

Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.

Colorado Salary Range: $88,000 - $96,000
[This position is eligible for equity awards in accordance with the terms of Contentful’s equity plans.]
