JUST ONE, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the Marine Technology industry, is actively seeking a Senior Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Automation Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of practical project experience with electrical & automation engineering &
design work.
• Have experience of successful automation design and project work in the international technology area. We appreciate the experience and know-how from power plants, offshore or shipbuilding industries.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA programming, especially Siemens, Codesys, and
Mitsubishi
• Knowledge of network communication protocols (Profinet , RS232/485, Modbus
TCP/IP, OPC UA) and VPN.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and integrating components such as
PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD drives, safety devices, field instrumentation sensors & actuator,
memory modules, and network components.
• Passion for software development and the ability to communicate and collaborate
at all levels of the organization.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem solving, self-motivated and results oriented with a strong can-do mentality.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficient in English.
