As the Lead Engineer for Structural Integrity of Graphite Core Components, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, influencing the design, licensing, and operation of our innovative fluoride salt-cooled, high-temperature reactors. Reporting to the Manager of Structural Integrity & Materials Modeling, this role entails developing cutting-edge analysis methods and numerical models that ensure our reactors are safe, efficient, and ready for upcoming challenges. In this collaborative environment, your expertise will support various engineering teams, helping to define testing needs, analyze experimental data, and enhance our methodologies for analyzing materials under extreme conditions. Think of it as being part of a dynamic team that's not afraid to push boundaries. With at least 10 years of hands-on experience, you’ll leverage your knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and mechanical properties of quasi-brittle components. Skills in scientific programming and tools like Ansys or Abaqus will be key to your success.
