PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences.
Actively participate in the month-end close process for assigned areas of responsibility.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations timely and accurately.
Assist with ad hoc projects, including process documentation and updates, as assigned.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback regarding team initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):
Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Chicago, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, or Notre Dame University.
Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration.
Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry.
A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
The hourly rate for this opportunity is $22.00.
