Civil Engineer - Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV)
Overview
Kimley-Horn's Alpharetta, Georgia office is seeking a Civil Engineer join their Zero Emmission Vehicle team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Our Zero Emmission Vehicle Team works on projects including:
- Site civil layour and design
- Renewable Energy integration
- Parking studies
- EV Charging Design
- Project Due Diligence and Site Constraints
- Jurisdictional Permitting and Agency Coordination
- Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
- This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
- You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
- You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
- Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.
Qualifications
- An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025 in one of the following majors:
- Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
- Engineering Technology
