The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets guests know when doughnuts are being made fresh in shop so they can enjoy hot doughnuts fresh off the line. To make Krispy Kreme’s... in-shop experience even sweeter, many shops across the globe feature the brands one-of-a-kind doughnut theater, an immersive, interactive experience through which guests can see Krispy Kreme’s melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts being made right before their eyes.
It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship is designed for rising juniors, seniors, and grad students looking to make full use of their talents with hands-on work experience. Throughout your time during our internship program, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact; you will receive support and guidance from your manager along with interaction with members of our Global Leadership Team. Your internship will continue to develop your business acumen and professional skills.
Krispy Kreme’s Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the brand’s overall CRM strategy and loyalty program through content development, campaign analysis and ongoing testing. This position helps shape the relationship consumers have with Krispy Kreme through strategic and timely 1:1 messaging while representing the brand tone and voice in CRM. This role will have exposure to shaping the robust digital ecosystem of Krispy Kreme and impact the ongoing improvement of the brand’s loyalty program.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Support guest engagement through CRM and loyalty tools, data and insights, with a focus on lifecycle campaigns in all U.S. markets.
• Support the development of best-in-class CRM content (email, push notifications, in-app, SMS) including brief development, copywriting, message creation, audience segmentation and campaign set-up.
• Analyze data and trends to inform CRM and loyalty strategies for delivering against key digital objectives in support of delivering Krispy Kreme’s annual business goals.
• Support the development, implementation and analysis of Krispy Kreme’s CRM and loyalty offer testing calendar.
• Collaborate closely with brand teams (including retail, eCommerce, Fundraising, Gifting, Merchandise, CPG, etc.) and cross-functional teams (Insights, IT, Operations) to support and implement CRM and loyalty strategies.
• Additional responsibilities may be required based on the needs of the business.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
• Current rising Junior or Senior undergraduate working towards a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (or other related field).
• Proactive, independent, and eager to learn with a passion for CRM, Loyalty, and Digital and user engagement.
• Understanding of marketing analytics (Google Analytics & CRM Platform tools).
• Strong storyteller with the ability to develop content for all pieces of CRM messaging (copywriting, creative briefing, etc).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and creatively problem-solve
• Collaborates well with others and is a true teammate with ability to work cross-functionally with brand marketing, creative, insights and IT.
• Experience using CRM and loyalty programs to create and send campaigns for different message types (email, push, SMS, etc.).
• Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment
• And of course… LOVE DOUGHNUTS!
