Researcher - Talent Acquisition

Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the recruitment process by sourcing and qualifying top-tier candidates, ensuring we attract the best talent to fulfil our requirements. However - your role will extend beyond conventional candidate sourcing. You will perform market research, identify and map talent landscapes, and proactively recognise emerging trends in recruitment.

You will play a vital role in ensuring our recruitment processes are efficient and well-structured. You will assist in tracking candidates progress, keeping precise data in our applicant tracking system (ATS), and producing reports to keep stakeholders updated.

This position is ideal for individuals with some 360-recruitment experience who are looking to shift away from business development to concentrate on candidate generation, as well as for 180-degree consultants wanting to transition internally and build a career in Talent Acquisition, or for anyone who believes they possess the essential skills to thrive in this role!

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing:

    • Proactively search for candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and talent databases.
    • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Tracking and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate candidate tracking, ensuring that all recruitment processes are logged in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Provide regular updates and reports to hiring managers and the TA team

Research and Market Mapping:

    • Conduct market research to identify talent trends and map potential candidates within specific sectors, industries, and geographies.

Screening and Shortlisting:

    • Assist with screening resumes and initial candidate assessments, creating shortlists for hiring managers.
    • Communicate with candidates to schedule interviews and provide updates throughout the process.

Process Support:

    • Track and manage the progress of candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring that all steps are completed on time.
    • Identify potential process improvements to streamline operations and enhance candidate experience.

Collaboration:

    • Work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and the wider team to ensure alignment with recruitment goals and priorities.

Database Management:

    • Ensure candidate profiles are well-maintained and up-to-date in the ATS, ensuring a high level of data integrity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tracking recruitment processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a keen sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Prior background in the following areas would be great but not essential
    • Recruitment, sourcing, or HR-related roles
    • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing tools.
