This position will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. This position reports to the RSD, RSM or Sales Team Leader within a defined territory or region.How You'll Create Impact• Requests implants/instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.• Plans, coordinates and ensures all implants/instruments are in place prior to case.• Coordinates surgeon schedule.• Builds strong relationships with key surgeons while having the ability to cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency.• Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.• Informs Sales Leader about market data/potential, territory/customer concerns, opportunities to assist in development of territory strategy.• Develops relationships with internal support personnel.• Provides after hour and/or weekend on-call case coverage and add on case coverage for territory.• Collaborate and support sales team and/or territory, including the transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for cases.What Makes You Stand Out• Must be mobile and willing to travel• Willing a capable of carry weights up to 50 lbs• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to work as part of a team is essential to the job• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals• Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English• Perform all other duties as assignedYour Background• Minimum of an Associates degree or medical certification required.• Minimum of 0-3 year’s sales or sales service experience in medical device, surgical.Travel ExpectationsUp to 20%EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
