Job Title: Construction Quality Manager (CQM) – Military Construction Projects

Location: Fort Belvoir VA

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM) to oversee the quality assurance and control processes for military construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing quality programs within military or Department of Defense (DOD) construction environments. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with military specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of the project’s Quality Management Plan, ensuring compliance with military standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and reviews of construction processes, materials, and workmanship.

Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to established quality control protocols.

Ensure all documentation, including reports, inspections, and corrective actions, are properly completed and maintained.

Monitor and resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.

Provide leadership and training to the quality control team to maintain a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Act as the primary point of contact for all quality assurance matters, including interaction with military and government clients.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all construction sites.

Maintain strong working relationships with military officials, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:

Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification is mandatory.

5+ years of experience in quality management, with at least 3 years of experience in military or DOD construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of military construction regulations, standards, and processes.

Strong understanding of quality control principles and construction methodologies.

Proven track record of implementing quality control programs in large-scale construction projects.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on military bases or government facilities.

Familiarity with Army Corps of Engineers quality control protocols.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
