Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our department responsible for packaged systems. This role involves overseeing the quoting, design, drawings, and submittals for packaged systems tailored to commercial and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or systems engineering, leadership experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the department’s quoting, design, and documentation processes for packaged systems.

Develop detailed engineering designs and ensure all drawings and submittals meet project requirements and industry standards.

Oversee the selection and integration of components, including pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, piping, and instrumentation.

Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure packaged systems meet commercial and industrial application needs.

Ensure designs adhere to quality standards and applicable codes while optimizing for cost and functionality.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and professional development.

Collaborate with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure seamless assembly and installation.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: 8+ years in engineering design, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong technical expertise in packaged systems for commercial and industrial applications.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools.

Familiarity with control panels, instrumentation, and system integration.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.


Preferred Skills

Experience working with steel structures or enclosures.

Knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI, NFPA).
