New Job Opportunity -Help Desk Support Coordinator
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Fairfax, VA. Looking to hire a Help desk support coordinator with 1+ years of related work experience dealing with ticketing systems and providing excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with windows based systems and IT technologies (networking, security, backup and recovery)
- Having a background with automation technology, APIs, and/or cloud based technologies is a big plus.
Logistics of the Role:
Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire - Our client is looking to pay within a range of 20/hr. -22/hr.
On Site
Day to Day Activities:
Provide day-to-day desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software
Tier 1 support - Answer tier 1 calls for computers during high call periods or when scheduling conflicts arise
Deploys and troubleshoot issues with networking equipment (switches, routers, data drops, wireless access points and other hardware).
Collaborates with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of IT Technical Support; mix of Desktop and Help Desk Support preferred
Highly detailed and process-oriented with advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and documentation skills
Associates Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required
