Senior Azure Engineer

  • Expert in Networking concepts (Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Subnetting, Firewalls, etc).

Objectives

Demonstrate strong client impact by meeting or exceeding delivery expectations on all SOWs (Statements of Work) assigned to you

  • Ensure your performance meets or exceeds the client satisfaction standards captured via quarterly engagement reviews

  • Actively identify, resolve, and, if necessary, report to your team leader all project issues and blockers

  • Through individual mentorship, ensure your project team meets or exceeds quality standards via Team Health Checks.

Lead and collaborate within a high-performing client delivery team

  • Effectively work within project timelines, scope, and deliverables while keeping a pulse on team dynamics and performance. 

  • Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting quick, sustainable feedback loops that support development and continuously enhance customer value delivery.

  • Proactively manage and resolve interpersonal team conflicts.  

  • Establish and maintain positive client visibility by demonstrating value and fostering relationships

Foster Company Growth Through Industry Leadership 

  • Provide guidance and coaching to mid and junior engineers to enhance their effectiveness. 

  • Actively engage as leaders within the organization sharing expertise and fostering growth and contribute to internal training and posts.

  • Achieve a minimum of 1 Pro/Speciality or Advanced level certification. 

  • Contribute to at least 1 technical workshop annually

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

LT expectations 

  • Follow LT Standard Operating Procedures - Timesheets submitted by EOD each Friday, Complete KnowBe4 trainings on time, Drata Tasks (reviewing policies), Provide Extraordinary Results feedback for team members 

  • Responsible for entire system.

  • Technical Proficiency - Proficient knowledge. Able to create an Azure solution from scratch and set it up for technical excellence (i.e. Pipeline to Azure and everything in between including security, observability, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, etc.).
