Tech Lead (Frontend)

We are looking for a skilled Tech Lead to join our Frontend team, bringing extensive experience in frontend application development and team management. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in React, Node.js, and system design, with a proven ability to architect efficient front-end systems and mentor engineers. This role requires a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric products and a commitment to driving operational excellence through collaborative, scalable software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive web applications
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Writing code for User Interface components
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Drive operational excellence in software development through leading and participating in code reviews, quality assurance, and production monitoring


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience developing web applications; 2+ years of team management experience
  • Strong architectural mindset with a focus on system design
  • Expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript, RESTful APIs, full-stack development
  • Proficiency in Ruby is beneficial, with additional value placed on familiarity with Next.js and Nest.js
  • Skilled in debugging, optimization, and unit/integration testing
  • Experience with Linux, Bash, and Docker


$160,000 - $180,000 a year
