Job Description

Level All is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Senior Product Manager to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will be the most senior person on the team with the opportunity to directly impact the success of our business by shaping our product strategy. You will report to our Co-CEO’s and drive the roadmap with a strong customer-centric mindset, ensuring alignment with company strategy and growth goals. You will articulate the objectives of products and features, define the success for them, and rally our cross-functional teams to turn that into reality. You will confidently lead the product development through all phases in collaboration with Engineering and Design. 

Full-time regular employment, on site 3 days NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Planning: contribute to the overall strategic planning, develop and evangelize a clear product strategy, define quarterly goals, investment areas 

  • Lead customer engagement: develop customer empathy (all customer types), gather insights, understand their needs, articulate problem statements and requirements  

  • Facilitate solutioning: ideate on solutions with stakeholders to arrive at product features, validate solutions, define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), scope the work

  • Own product roadmap: develop the roadmap, prioritize features, maintain alignment with stakeholders and cross-functionally, resolve dependencies, coordinate releases, keep the deadlines

  • Drive product development: lead agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization and estimation, write stories and acceptance criteria, define releases, etc.

  • Manage escalations: handle urgent customer issues, assist with sales escalations, manage expectations for resolution, make trade-off decisions

  • Communications: provide transparency into roadmap, conduct product reviews, communicate tradeoffs, evangelize product success and learnings, assist in writing blogs 

  • Participate in GTM: work with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, sales enablement materials and collateral 

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of product experience

  • Edtech or educational background is a plus

  • Comfortable working in a startup environment

  • Proven record of effectively managing end-to-end software product development

  • Direct experience working with Design and Engineering in agile setting

  • Extreme sense of ownership, pride and passion for solving customer problems

  • Ability to build alignment and set clear expectations cross-functionally

  • Effective decision making and transparent communication style

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills

  • Experience with Confluence and Jira, or similar product management tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent PM experience

Additional Information

  • Onsite 3 days a week (Midtown Manhattan) including Mondays, 2 days remote

  • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM (less 1 hour lunch)

  • Level All does not provide work authorization and/or visa sponsorship.

  • The annual total compensation for this position is expected to be between $150,000 - $175,000. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the indicated range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Level All are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for stock-based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
