Who We AreLevel99 is a first-of-its-kind destination for real-world, social, challenge-based entertainment for adults featuring over 50 mental and physical challenges set in immersive, artistic environments. Each challenge is designed to bring a group together in engaging activities that take 2 to 4 minutes to complete, sparking moments of laughter in epic fails and high-fives in triumphant wins. From navigating our iconic Axe Run, to solving puzzles in a Crystal Cavern, to conquering the largest pinball game imaginable, Level99 offers endless ways to play using both body and mind. Level99 tracks each player’s progress as they work their way up the coveted leaderboard or try to collect every “star” available in the venue, unlocking exclusive rewards as they play. To enhance the gaming experience, Level99 offers a full-service bar, restaurant, and beer hall, Night Shift Kitchen + Tap, that features scratch-made cooking, legendary craft beers, hand-made creative cocktails, and a variety of dining and gathering spaces for events. In 2025, we will be adding Victory Brewing in Tysons, VA and Two Roads Kitchen + Tap in West Hartford, CT to our group of restaurants as we team up with local brewers in support of our northeast expansion.Level99 opened its first location in 2021 in Natick, MA, followed by its second location in Providence, RI in 2024. A young, entrepreneurial company, Level99 has immediate plans to triple in size over the next 18 months. We are backed by Act III Holdings, led by Panera founder Ron Shaich, and we have a talented team that has worked on successful entertainment projects such as 5 Wits, Boda Borg, Blue Man Group, and Walt Disney Imagineering. More information on Level99 and our restaurants is available at http://www.level99.com.Job DescriptionThe Graphic Designer role will play a critical part in the development and implementation of Level99’s brand and marketing strategy. This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing & Strategy and serve as a key part of our growth engine. In terms of general responsibilities, this person will create all Level99 promotional marketing materials, develop the Level99 brand and brand guidelines, support the development of our restaurant brand, partner with our construction and interior design teams on graphic design needs for new venue openings, and will design our merchandise. A Level99 Graphic Designer has honesty and personal integrity that is above reproach, prefers a joyful and positive approach to challenging situations, chooses humility over the need to “be right,” and in all things acts as though they are the owner of our venues.Responsibilities• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, tech, and design teams to bring creative ideas to life, driving brand growth and enhancing the customer experience across all business areas• Develop and Maintain Brand Standards: Create a comprehensive brand book and design templates to standardize the Level99 brand across venues, digital platforms, and internal communications• Create Engaging Marketing Materials: Produce visually compelling promotional materials, seasonal menus, in-venue signage, and digital displays to support venue and event marketing efforts, aligning with visual and written brand voice• Support Photography and Video Production: Handle photography editing and assist in video production needs, ensuring high-quality content for websites, social media, and in-venue displays. Partner with external videographers on creating compelling content to tell the Level99 story• Design Merchandise and Loyalty Program Assets: Develop seasonal merchandise collections and loyalty program assets to boost customer engagement and brand loyalty• Enhance Digital Brand Presence: Work closely with the tech team to update branded website elements and design assets with our marketing team for newsletters, email templates, and more• Support Venue Design and Construction: Partner with the interior design and construction team on creating branded mockups and assets, such as wayfinding signage and construction barriers, that support our new venue openings• Lead Design Projects from Concept to Completion: Develop concepts from creative briefs, progressing from initial ideas to final production assets, with a strong focus on detail and brand consistency• Organize and Manage Digital Assets: Establish and maintain a central storage system for all digital assets and photography, ensuring easy access for cross-functional teams• Uphold and Improve Brand Standards: Continuously enforce Level99’s brand and visual standards across all design, display, and environmental aspects of the business, contributing to a cohesive and polished brand experience• Other duties as neededMust-have Skills• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline• 2+ years relevant experience (graphic design, branding agency, creative direction, 3D design, illustration, etc.)• Expert level skill in the full Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as full Microsoft suite• Strong eye for visual design, excellent verbal and written communication• Familiarity working with and manipulating fonts and leveraging typography• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment• Understands, utilizes and embraces new technology and its implementation into our operation• Ability to be nimble and respond quickly to emerging digital and social trends• Creative, collaborative, and self-starting mindset. Team player and willing to “roll up your sleeves”• Experience developing brands and branded assets• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
